    End of 50's show darker humour, serious themes and sexual scene.

    Comedies were broaded and were more star packed.
  • 1970's

    British Comedies were to be spin offs of TV series
  • 1980's

    During the 1980's spoofs of the previous decades disater films were made.
  • 1990's

    Films were more aimed at a famly audience.
    Also romantic comedies would be made.
  • 2000's

    use of gross-out humour increases which was aimed a a younger generation.
