Kinetoscope
The Kinetoscope is an early filming tool made by William Dickson. The Kinetoscope was designed for films to be viewed by one person at a time through a small peephole at the top of the device. The Kinetoscope introduced the basic approach that would become the standard for all cinematic projection before the advent of video, by creating the illusion of movement by conveying a strip of perforated film with sequential images over a light source with a high-speed shutter. -

The Story of the Kelly Gang is a 1906 Australian bushranger film that tells the story of 19th-century bushranger and outlaw Ned Kelly and his gang. It was directed by Charles Tait. The silent film ran for more than an hour with a reel length of about 1,200 meters , making it the longest film seen in the world, and the first feature-length film at the time. It is known as the origin point of the bushranging drama, a genre that dominated the early years of Australian film production. -
