    The fashion industry just began to grow in the 1900's. Women wore corsets made out of soft textiles. Men wore suits made for comfort, and possibly covered by a coat.

    Zippers were first used during this time.

    Becuase it was the war era, clothing was not as stylish as before. Women's dresses were padded on the shoulders, and went down to their knees. Men's trousers were wider, and their jackets were longer.

    Women's fashion became more elegant and feminine. Men's clothing were wide in the shoulders and their waistlines were very noticeable.

    People started wearing tie-dye shirts, long hair, and beards.
