    Is an early motion picture device. It was designed for films to be viewed by individuals (1 at a time) through a peephole viewer window at the top of the device. The Kinetograph was created by William Kennedy Dickson. It was introduced as a basic approach that became the standard for all cinematic projection.

    Early Editing

    Through this time lapse early editing involved the use of scissors or tape (sometimes cement) to create different shots. This is known as splicing. Splicing techniques were used because in this century they didn't have the technology to edit how we do now. They had to do everything with their hands.

Also the most widely used color process in hollywood 1922 to 1952. The most famous films used with highly saturated colours are The wizard of Oz 1939,Down Argentine Way 1940,The adventures of Robin Hood 1938, Gone with the wind 1939, Snow white and the seven dwarfs 1937,Fantasia 1940.

    Lyta cinema Works from Germany was built a hand ranked 35mm camera and also created the worlds first editing machine, the Kineskop Viewer. It was designed to make editing more easier when filmed on a film equipped table with reel holders and hand ranks. It rewind on a tooth drum. The photographs were illuminated by an incandescent lamp through a prism. This created a strong flicker when viewed in a magnifying glass.
