    Charles Babbage
    The first ever computer was invented by the english polymathiscian, Carles Babbage, in the mid 1830's. Babbage, who is also known as the father of computers, was able to invent a computer due to his effective reaserch into machines that could calculate.

  • Carl Benz

    Carl Benz
    Carl Benz is the first inventor of a vehicle that is driven by gasoline engines, also the founder of one of the world's biggest car companies, MercedesBenz. In 1886 he applied for a pantent for his “vehicle powered by a gas engine." That year the three wheeled Benz Patent Motor Car, model no. 1 was shown to the public.

  • Kondrad Zuse

    Kondrad Zuse
    The first actually functional modern computer, the Z1, was invented by Kondrad Zuse in the mid-1936 and 1938. It is considered as the first electromechanical binary programmable computer. The Z1 was created in Zuse's parents' living room.

  • ENIAC

    ENIAC
    The first important computer was the giant ENIAC machine of John W. Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert of the University of Pennsylvania. ENIAC (Electronic Digital Integrator and Calculator) used a 10-digit decimal digit words instead of binary digit words like previous automatic calculators/computers.

    Henry Edward Roberts
    Ed Roberts was the co-founder of the American electronic company MITS. He invented Altair 8800 in 1974 and coined it with the term "personal computer". Roberts invention contributed to the launch of microsoft, due to Bill Gates and Paul Allen's interest in the invention

    Bill Gates
    He was the CEO, chairman and chief software architect of Microsoft. In 2014, he stepped down as the chairman but he still owns 1.34% of the company.

  • Elon Musk

    Elon Musk
    Elon Musk is the CEO of Tesla Motors and SpaceX. His success started with computers. At the age of 12 he learned how to program which later contributed to his first company, Zip2. He was also the co-founder of X.com which later became PayPal.

    Google
    Sergey Brin together with Larry Page, founded the search engine Google. Today, Google is the most used web browser and there is about 5.4 billion searches per day. Google also produces Chromebook computers which is very used today mostly in schools but also by civillians.

  • Mark Zuckerburg

    Mark Zuckerburg
    The worldwide social plattform, Facebook, was started by Mark Zuckerburg in his dorm room at Harvard University. He is still the owner of the big social plattform. With Facebook, people from all around the world have the opportunities to socialize and also be updated with the latest news and information.
