The first computer was invented by Charles Babbage on the 14th of June 1822. The machine is called difference engine and could be used to work out mathmatical tables. these mathmatical tables were very important for the scientific/technology disciplines. The science museum in London has a replica. -
First transistor computer
manchesters experiment of the first transistor was finnaly put to the test in 1953. It had transistors instead of vaccum holes so it was electrical. The transistors were not very reliable in there early manifacture so people didn't really use them. -
