The difference egine designed by Charles Babbage was however unfinished due to the lack of money left. It was sadly Unfiinished in 1849. However in 1991 it was finished by other constructers and published in a museum at 2001 -
Colossus
The Colossus was very famous for cracking the German Lorenz SZ-40 cipher machines code during World war II. This machine was designed by Tommy flowers however during the war the colossus was expected to be finished in a year and the war would have been finished so it would have been no use, but it was successfully finished in a few months. There was also a improved one called Colossus MK2 finished in July 1 1944. -
