    Travels of Paul

    Paul was on the road to Damascus and saw a bright light and saw that it was Jesus. Paul was blind for 3 days and converted to Christianity. Paul wrote letters to different churches after Jesus's death. In pauls three missionary journeys he traveled 8,000 miles of land and sea. Paul visited Rome, Corinth, Athens.

    The Great Fire of Rome

    The Great Fire of Rome was an urban fire that occurred in July of 64 AD. The fire began in the merchant shops around Rome's chariot stadium, Circus Maximus, on the night of July 19. After six days the fire was brought under control, and before the damage could be measured, the fire reignited and burned for another three days. In the aftermath of the fire, two-thirds of Rome had been destroyed.

    Battle of Milvian Bridge

    The Battle of the Milvian Bridge took place between the Roman Emperors Constantine I and Maxentius on 28 October 312. Constantine won the battle and started on the path that led him to end the Tetrarchy and become the sole ruler of the Roman Empire. Maxentius drowned in the Tiber during the battle; his body was later taken from the river and decapitated, and his head was paraded through the streets of Rome on the day following the battle.

    Edict of Milan, the proclamation that permanently established religious toleration for Christianity within the Roman Empire. It was the outcome of a political agreement concluded in Mediolanum (modern Milan) between the Roman emperors Constantine I and Licinius in February 313.
