In 1783, during the insurrection of the villagers, the march of the insurgents to Santa Fe stopped near the town of Chia, the crossing of the Rio Bogota, in what is now known as the Bridge of the Common. There Viceroy signed a series of concessions to the commoners, which then would challenge by being signed "under pressure".

It is a beautiful chapel, located at the top of the hill, where you can walk down the stairs built for this purpose, or vehicle for two existing roads. Masses are celebrated there every Sunday at 12 noon. It is a beautiful place to see the city from above, amidst a natural environment.
