John Dalton
John dalton contriuted by providing the theory know as the dalton atomic theory.
Born:September 6, 1766
Died:July 27, 1844 -
Marie Curie
Marie Curie discovered radium and polonium and coined the term radioactivity after studying the decay process of uranium and thorium.
Born:November 7, 1867
Died:July 4, 1934 -
J.J Thomson
Joseph Joh Thomson is created with discribing the nature of cathoda rays. He also created the plum pudding modle of the atom and discovered the electron.
Born: December 18, 1856

Henry Moseley
Henry Moseley was a british chemist. He was born on November 23rd 1887. Henry unfortunately died in action at Gallipoli in 1915.
Henry Moseley discovered the atomic numbers and the order of the elements on the periodic table. The numbers attached to each element on the periodic table, was created by him. -
Francis Aston
Francis Aston was born on september 1st 1877. He died at Cambridge on November 20th 1945.
Francis Aston discovered the isotope. Isotope, atoms of the same element can have different amounts of neutrons. -
Niels Henrik David Bohr
Niels Henrik David Bohr was a Danish physicist who made foundational contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum mechanics, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922.Niels Bohr proposed an atomic structure theory that stated the outer orbit of an atom could hold more electrons than the inner orbit.
Born:October 7, 1885
Died:November 18, 1962 -
Erwin Schrodinger
Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger was an Austrian physicist who developed a number of fundamental results in the field of quantum theory, which formed the basis of wave mechanics
Born:12 August 1887
Died:4 January 1961 -
James Chadwick
James Chadwick discovered neutrons, particles whose mass was close to that of a proton.
Born:October 20, 1891
Died:July 24, 1974 -
Ernest Rutherford
He discovered the atomic nuclears, the plantery model of the atom and the downfall of the the plum pudding model.
Born:August 30, 1871
Died:October 19, 1937 -
Murray Gell – Mann
Murray categorised particles and their interactions. He suggested that contemplated particles are compound, meaning that they were made of tiny atoms called quarks.
