    Praxinoscope/Theatre Optique
    Created by Charles-Emilie Reynaud. Praxinoscope used strip of pictures placed around the inner surface of a spinning cylinder and then projected on a screen. It was made in 1877 but the Theatre Optique was the further enhancement of the Praxinoscope. It was an animated moving picture system.
