King David (Jerusalem)
King David is the second king of Israel, who was chosen by the prophet Samuel. David was crowned king after Saul and his son died in battle. On the other hand, David help make the Israelite empire more secure and prosperous, through surrounding nations. This was achieved by King David defeating or making allegiances. King David was also held responsible for making the captured city of Jerusalem it's capital, and for taking the Ark of the covenant there. -

King Solomon (Temple)
King Solomon is David's son, who had a great temple built in Jerusalem. The temple was built in favor of the Ark of the Covenant, this was suppose to be it's permanent home where it would be stored in the sanctum.
