The California gold rush began on January 24, 1848, when James W. Marshall found gold at Sutter's Mill in Coloma, and ended in 1855. -
The Attack on Fort Sumter
At Fort Sumter a federal outpost was attacked by confederate troops in Charleston, South Carolina, beginning the Civil War. -
Urban Problems
Lot's of poor families were forced to live with other families, up to three other families. These families got the worst living conditions. They had trash and dirt and disease-causing bacteria that grew easily in there living conditions. That caused many of those families to get sick and sometimes die. -
National Park Service
Around the 1890's Theodore Roosevelt got inspired from the inspired from the outdoors, he wanted to join Natures Wildlife Conservation groups to help protect the nature and its resources. -

After a while of desegregating schools, some schools started to integrating schools to let the Little Rock Nine and others have a good education. -
Education of Handicapped Children
In 1970 Judy Heumann and other activists created this group called "Disabled in Action" (DIA). DIA helped kids with disability's have an education and to make people be aware that there are handicapped people in the world and to look out for them. -
September 11, 2001 terrorists attack
Several terrorists took control over four commercial airliners. They used them as weapons to attack sites in Washington, D.C., and NYC. Around 3,000 people were killed and more than 500,000 people had to get rescued on boats from the Island to get to safety. -
My Birthday
This is the day I was Born. With my twin sister Hailey. I'm the older one by one minute. -
When I Started Middle School
This is the year when i started Middle School. I made lots of new friends. It was one of my favorite years ever.
