French and Indian war
This war is known as the 7 year war. This was between the French and Indian in 1753. The French expanision upset the British. In the first year the British lost alot of there wars with the French. Then the whole war made a turn around and the British started winning the war. This led to the treaty of Paris. -
Stamp act
The Stamp Act was they taxed on all of the basic things they everyone usally have including Newspapers, diplomas, and even games. The British took advantage so they can get more money. When you think of the stamp act you think of it as a small rebellion, but no this caused a war. This was one of the biggest things to happen in the American Revoulotion. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was not that big of at fight until everything broke loose. This was between the American communist and British troops. The communist threw many objects at the soldiers but that only made things worse. This caused the soliders to shoot into the croud and killed people. An officer and 8 soilders were charged with man slaughter for killing 6 people. This was a big impact to the war because it helped turn colonies on Britain. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was on Boston Harbor. They dumped tea in the Boston Harbor to protest the taxes. This made them mad because they wasted Tea which one of their main trade source and they just dumped it into the ocean. This did not end well because it caused wars and protests. -
Fighting at Lexington and concord
The Fighting at Lexington and Concord was on April 19th, 1775. This was the very first war in the American Revolution. This war was between the British and Patroits. The Britsh lost 73 men and the Patroits lost 49 men. British shot the first shot and everything broke loose. Shot were going back and forth. This was a very important battle because it was the first battle in The American Revolution. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
This was one of the first wars to happn in the Revolutionary War. This war was between the British and the Americans. Battle of Bunker Hill was fought in Massachusetts. The war was very short and only lasted 2 hours. The British defeated the Americans in the was of Battle of Bunker Hill. This was important because this was the a major covidence boost for the British. This lead to the American Revoulotion because alot of people died. -
The Quarting Act
This Act allwed colonists to house British soliders. The barracks supplies the British soliders with supplys including food, water, shelter. The American soliders did not like this, they housed them, also fed the and were taxed for it. This was bad for both sides because this would anger them if they did not get their way.
