A space station is a place for astronauts to live while in orbit. Although the first one built is not used its launch was important in order to complete and make the next ones better. -

Columbine High School masacre
On this day two teenagers gunmen killed 13 people and injured about 23. They arrived at school dresssed in trenchcoats and shot students outside then continued the rampage inside. After the killimgs they turned themselves in and comitted suicide. -
My little sister was born.

9/11
9/11 was a terrorist attck by hijacking the planes and crashing them into the Twin Towers in New York, the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and one was crashed into a field. THis terrible evnt hieghtened our awareness of threats and took the lives of too many. -
Heat wave in Paris
During this heat wave the temperature rose to about 112. Sadly leaving 144 people dead. -
Facebook is launched
Although this seems like a less important event it changed the way we saw social media. It also led to alot of controversy over who came up with the actual idea of facebook. -
Indian Ocean Tsunami
On this tragic day one of, if not the deadliest tsunami hit 11 countries off the Indian Ocean. Just by the end of the day their were 150,000 people dead or missing. The cause of such a huge tsunami was caused by an earthquake in the ocean. -
I won third all around for my state gymnastics meet.

In february the pope resigned. He said due to his age and body he could no longer carry out the duties neccessary for his position. -
