    Archeologists have found evidence that there was a man called the mungo man, he was found in kackadoo Australia. This shows that aboriginals have 100% ruled Australian land for thousands of years, he is estimated to have lived from 40,000-68,000 years ago and is the oldest Australian body found. His skull is actually still in contact to this day. Some aboriginals still go to his remains and have ceremony’s around his body.

    The First Fleet, ruled by Arthur Phillip, arrived into Botany Bay on 18th January 1788. Scanning the area unsuitable, the group then travelled north and arrived at Port Jackson on 26th January 1788. The event started the start of British settlement, and we now call it as Australia Day. It is also called to as Invasion Day by some, including Aboriginal Australians.

It changed our economy by have our gold prices go up, during this time Australia had convicts, these convicts would have there sentence taken of them after their time. They would have 1 square meter to die for gold, this made it very had for them to dig for gold. There was one piece of gold, but this was not any ordinary gold it was very large.

This meant that all the states had to have one prime minister, so Edmund Barton stood up and said he wanted to be prime minister and he was qualified. He was the person to set the the first Australian flag to gather, he did this as a nation In one hand.

    On 2008 in Australia Kevin Rudd finally said sorry, plus me mad a day called Australia Day but most aboriginals still want it to be called sorry day. To this day most of the stolen generation will not see their parents. To this day all aboriginals have full rights, this means they can vote and have a levels salary.
