The British want to increases tax and use it to par British debt. But the Colonies reject, then the Parliament repealed the Sugar Act in 1766. In 1765, the Parliament passed another act to collect the tax that called "Stamp Act".

But the court thinks black people are not U.S. citizen, so he doesn't have rights ask freedom on the court. And this case made a lot of anti-slave people angry and increased North and South contradiction.
