Prohibition was a nationwide ban on alcoholic beverages. This was led by protestants to prevent such things as ill society. Alcohol was ran illegally in speakeasies which then led to new laws being established. -

The Teapot Dome Scandal consisted of big oil companies, national security, and corruption from the government of the United States. The scandal involved illegal liquor, murder-suicide, poker playing politicians and more. This marked the first time a U.S. cabinet official went to jail. -

Mickey Mouse was a cartoon character created by Walt Disney and Ub lwerks. The character went on to appear in over 130 films including The Band Concert. From here Mickey Mouse was the famous logo for Disney. -
Stock Market Crash
The Stock Market crash marked the beginning of the Great Depression. The industrial average declined by over 13 percent. This causes lots of people to lose their homes, money, and also jobs. Due to the bank losing all their money, people were forced to give up their own. -
Dust Bowl Begins
The Dust Bowl was a period in time where lots of dust storms affected agriculture along with ecology. This was named the largest migration in American history. Americans were forced out of their homes along with being injured and sick from all the dust. -

Roosevelt served as our 32nd president of the United States. Serving a term during the Great Depression, he helped lots of Americans get back on their feet. As he stated ¨the only thing we have to fear is fear itself ¨, gave hope to the Americans that everything would be okay. -

This act served as an act to provide for the general welfare. This law was signed into law by president Roosevelt. It created a law that gave retired workers age 65 or older some type of income. -
Franklin D. Roosevelt´s New Deal
The New Deal was introduced by president Roosevelt that created new programs. These programs included constraints that would get the Americans back on their feet. The New Deal also increased the economy to get out of the Great Depression. This was the start of a new beginning in America.
