Bunker Hill

The British commanders felt humiliated after being taken from Boston. A group of men had imprisoned them in the city and then forced them out with a canon seized from one of their own British forts. -

On September 11 Washington was defeated which lead the Continental Congress to flee the city. Fifteen days later, Washington Howe entered Philadelphia unopposed. -

Treaty of Paris
Congress agreed with the treaty which cause the ending the Revolutionary War with Great Britain on April 15, 1783. On September 3, 1783, the Treaty of Paris was signed, bringing the Revolutionary War to its final conclusion.
