    Winklemans vs Parma City School District
    Winkleman's represented themselves in court without legal representation. Initially they were denied because they did not have a lawyer, after an appeal process were granted reimbursement from the local school system for their son's private education after representing his rights as a "party aggrieved". They also opened doors for other parents to represent their children's rights for FAPE in federal court.
