    Dramatic crash of the stock market on October 24, 1929. Worldwide economic downturn marked by steep declines in industrial production and in prices (deflation), mass unemployment, banking panics, and sharp increases in rates of poverty and homelessness. This lasted from 1929-1941.

    Franklin D. Roosevelt's series of programs to combat the effects of the Depression. Worked to bring immediate economic relief as well as reforms in industry, agriculture, finance, waterpower, labour, and housing making this a "New Deal" for a "Forgotten Man".

    The systematic murder of Europe's Jews by the Nazis and their collaborators during the Second World War. This was led by Adolf Hitler who blamed the European Jews for Germanys defeat during World War 1.

    After the Holocaust, the European Jews circled to multiple countries in need of a new home yet no one wanted them to live them. The Palestinians brought them in with open arms and after that Israel invaded Palestinian land and forced them out of their homes. This is still an ongoing event in Palestine and Israel continues to invade their land and ethnic cleanse them.

    A struggle for justice and equality for African Americans that took place mainly in the 1950's and 1960's. This movement was for an end to racial segregation and exclusion arose across the United States. This was led by Martin Luther King Jr.

    War from 1955-1975 that pitted the communist government of North Vietnam against South Vietnam and its ally the United States. This war was also intensified by the ongoing Cold War between The United States and the Soviet Union.
