Before British Came
When the land was only occupied by Aboriginals they had rules like they would hunt and pick a amount of species but not pick it the next day. They would do this because the species would be] able to breed or get plant so that it won't come extinct this was how they lived in Australia prior the British. -
Industrial revolution
As people start to make machines that would the job of 10 men it also started making England and other British countries to start being polluted. As a result causing people to move Australia because it was hard to live in England. -
Captain Cook starts voyage
Captain Cook was sent to Australia as he was trying to find new land near the Pacific Ocean he found New Zealand in 1770 then he sailed across to Australia. In this time Aboriginals live happily in Australia by there own rules but that changed in a couple of years. -
America not allowing convicts
When America had a revolution they decided that they didn't want the convicts come any more so the British where wondering where to put the convicts. They remembered that captain cook found new holland they decided to take them their. -
Governor Arthur Phillip
Captain Arthur Phillip set sail with 11 other ships to New Holland to because England was overcrowded with prisoners and it was all polluted from the industrial revolution. He also took people who wanted to start a new life in New Holland. -
Diseases
The Aborigines were very healthy they lived off the fruit and vegetables that grow on the land. When the British came they spread smallpox which killed a lot of aborigines that was very bad then their was more diseases that now was in Australia. -
Economic Reson
When the industrial revolution came around a lot of the resources that they use so they need to get more resources so they can make more machines. They went to Australia so they could gather resources that they needed to expand England and to help feed the country with no food. -
Bennelong
Bennelong was captured by captain Arthur Phillip so that they could teach him english. They wanted him to be able to help translate for the british. After six months he escaped and ran away. In September he was found but it ended badly because captain Arthur Phillip was speared by the worrier that was in Bennelong’s tribe his name was Wolverine. Lucky captain Arthur Phillip survived and bennelong kept checking to see Phillip was ok. -
Black War
The black war started as people were getting killed by the aboriginals. This made governor Arthur Phillip to set up a defence wall which had 2200 convicts and marines they were called the black line. It was also the British who started the war as they were abusing aboriginal women this ended with every aboriginal in Tasmania to be killed.
