    One of the reasons why the British colonised Australia was because of a shortage of housing. The population of Britain was rising so Britain needed more supplies. So it caused everyone to move to the city for work

    Black War

    The British 2200 Marines and civilians marched from one side of Tasmania to the other, forming what was called the Black Line, to try and confine the aboriginals into one space called Tasmania Peninsula which was far away from the settlement. It claimed the lives of more than 200 colonists and between 600 and 900 aboriginals.
