Today, we learned about Wesley Autrey, a man who saved someone's life in a subway in New York. This made me think how amazing it is that someone is willing to risk their life to save that of a complete stranger. -

Year of the rat video
Watched music video for "Year of the rat" by Badly Drawn Boy. The video had the message that a little love can go a long way. When we all do our own, individual parts to better the world, it adds up to the big picture. -
How i Chose My Subject
Turned in video explaining why i chose Charlie Chaplin as my hero. Writing the script for this video really helped me develope my ideas on heroes and who should be considered a hero. -
Heroes in literature
Turned in paper expressing my views on heroes and their roles in literature. This is where all my ideas and theories about the true definition of a hero came together. I realized that there can be not just a single definition. There is a wide spectrum of various kinds of heroes. -

I shared a passage from my book on Chaplin. It talked about how Charles and Adolf were extremely simliar but, at the same time, complete opposites.
