On August 15, 1876 Japan imposed an unequal treaty. This allowed 3 Korean ports to be used by Japanese comers. This is significant because this is the first time that they were dividing in Korea. Model T
On October 1,1908 When Henry Ford was on a business trip his crew made the first model T. Ford was surly and destroyed the car because he didn't make it. He then remade the model T. This car was inexpensive which sold for $290 when the Chevrolet was sold for $645. The reason that this car was so inexpensive was that it lacked the things the Chevrolet had such as detachable wheels.This is significant because this was Fords First mass produced car. General strike where woman's rights in Switzerland
On November 9,1918 the general strike for woman rights happened in Switzerland. The women revolted to get rights such as to vote. Parliament tells the government to allow these woman rights such as to vote. In 1921 Ford Published anti-semite writings and many other writings to show his dislike towards jewish people. He also got the Grand cross of the German eagle which is the highest foreign honor. Model A made
On October 20, 1927 the Model A was made. This was made the same way the Model T was made. The goal was to reduce 40 horsepower when it could only produce 22 horse power. This could take off at 5mph to 25 mph in 8 1/2 seconds. even eight cylinder cars couldn't do this at this time. In 1927 the engine was being rode tested and ready in August of that year. Died
