Henri Poincare was a famous French mathematician, theoretical physicist, engineer, and philosopher of science. He established himself as a mathematician at the age of 27. After, he moved to study at the University of Paris to be an associate Professor of Analysis. He remained there until his death in 1912. Even though he had a busy schedule, he published many great works, including 'Analysis Situs', which provided the first systematic treatment of topography. Later he wrote three more books.
