I add this because although every one of the degrees she earned could be on this list, this is the summit. Her areas of study are philosophy of science, social epistemology, and feminist philosophy. She went on to publish several books and many journal articles. -
Published her first Book Science as a Social Knowledge
Helen states that science and the scientists objectivity is based on values and experiences they have lived or believe in. Their place and social interaction change the outcome of their hypothesis. -
The Fate of Knowledge Published
The books takes what she purposes in Science as Social Knowledge and expands on those ideas and then adding her work after and up to this point. "The social approach, she concludes, best allows us to retain a meaningful concept of knowledge in the face of theoretical plurality and uncertainty." (Princeton Press) -
Studying Human Behavior published
As her last published book, her ideas and research continue to expand on themselves. She explores different ways human behavior, particularly aggression and sexuality, are studied and observed and where nature versus nurture come into play.
