Nirvana had planned to release this single in april of 1994, but due to Kurt Cobain's death, upon release, all singles were taken back from stores and apparently destroyed. The Pennyroyal Tea single is a rare and expensive collectors item. Pennyroyal Tea, I Hate My Self and I Want to Die, and Where did you Sleep Last Night were all on it. -
Death of Kurt Cobain
Kurt Cobain killed himslef on april 5th 1994. Nirvana was all over, and fans held a silent candle Vigle in his name. -
