This is when I really started to be proactive with my ears and how to not damage them because of how many procedures I have had on my ears. -
Knowing my family medical history
I fainted one day in choir, so my mom took me to the doctors, and from that I to be ask about my family background for medical reasons. I learned of heart disease, lupus, and other genetic disease in my families back round. -

My health in my twenties
I need to take precautions because of how bad heart disease is in my family, I need to eat heart healthy foods and workout to keep my heart pumping strong. -

Cancer
Cancer is a concern in my family because a lot of members in family have had or have cancer, in the women in my family the concern is breast cancer like most females, with this I will try to prevent it by eating healthier. -

My forties
Another health concern is arthritis, I am worried about this because my dad has a type of arthritis and so does my maternal grandmother so I have it genetically on both side of the family. I would try to prevent this by getting enough exercise and avoiding any injury that could lead to arthritis. -

Having an iron deficiency is also something that may happen as I get older because I do have direct relatives who are anemic. So I will try to ingest stuff that has iron but if it gets to the point I am anemic I will take the iron supplement. -

My sixties
As I get older I am think of what my grandma has a calcium deficiency, which causes her to break stuff when she falls, so to prevent this I will continue to keep ingesting foods with calcium in them.
