    In 1878 Ole Ran'l went to visit Hatfield. He saw a familiar pig and claimed that the pig was his.

    They had a trail for who the pig own too. There was a witness and so the Hatfield had won the pig but the McCoy didn't agree so the had killed the witness.

    Johnse was at an election and had spotted Roseanna. Roseanna is one year older than Johnse. It was getting late but then she realized that Tolbert had left without her.

    Johnse suggested that she come home with him so she doesn't get in trouble with her father. Devil Anse did not agree with the marriage. He simply refused to mix blood.

    Months later Roseanna's mother had sent her daughters to retreat Roseanna.

    One night Johnse was surrounded and was taken as prisoner. Roseanna heard about it.

    Roseanna went back home to tell him what had happened and they all went to retreat Johnse. She knew what was going to happen to Johnse. They were going to kill him

    Roseanna got Johnse back safely but there was a cruel reward she got for it. Johnse did not dare to get back to Roseanna's side. Roseanna when back home pregnant.

    Months later Johnse married Roseanna's cousin on May 14, 1881. Roseanna contracted measles and had a miscarriage. Her life became worse.

    A little over a year later the feud got worse. Roseanna's bothers had stabbed Devil Anse 26 times and shot him in the back.

    Three days later they were killed. As an act of revenge, they went to Nacy's sister's house and killed her and her daughter with a cow's tail.

    In 1887 Kentucky's government sent Frank Phillips to arrest McCoy's brother's killers.

    West Vergina put out reward offers. West Vergina sued the neighboring state for the unlawful arrest of 9 prisoners.

    Roseanna's mother had died and Roseanna became depressed. Roseanna was less than 30 when she died.

    Johnse was convicted but the charge was dropped after he saved the life of one the governing from a prisoner. Nacy left Johnse and married Frank. The person that convicted Johnse. Nacy died at 36.
