    it was the transition of creating new manufacturing and to make lives easier. this transition included going from doing stuff from using your hands, to using machines to do our work and make our lives easier. it was the start of the modern world, in which the industrial revolution was the reason the modern world exists.

    Napoleonic Wars
    the napoleonic wars was the end of frances war with england and it is significant because england didnt have any enemies like france to deal with and was able to send their british colonists to go and colonise 23% of the world and their population. This includes Austraila, India, Canada, and even the USA, and killed people that standed in their way. They also colonised other places as well and most of them are part of the commonwealth.

    the black war was the violent conflict that happened between the Aboriginal Australians and the british colonist. this happened because the british wanted australia to themselves and they did that by either killing the aboriginals or putting them into slave camps made by the british. The ones that werent in a camp were either hiding away from the colonists or were rebelling aganist the colonists.

    Darwinism is the theory that evolution was driven by natural selection, and it was created by charles darwin. it said that the weak were diminished and the strong grew in power. people didnt like it because it got rid of their responsibility.

    this was when ned Kelly fought off a few police officers. this shootout is why people think of ned Kelly as a contestable figure. this is because one group of people believe that ned is a bad guy for committing murder, while the other group says that ned did it because of self defence and didn't want to hurt anybody

    the boxer rebellion was something where the civilians started a uprising aganist the foreigners and christians. they were referred to as boxers because they practised physical exercises, which made them durable, killed foreigners, and destroyed foreign property. they managed to take the capital of china they ruled over china until an imperial force was made, with american troops in it and they lost control of china and the boxers were over.

    Battle of Beersheba
    the battle of beersheba was the first major win for the australians and the other countries that fought with them. this was achieved by the people under light horse, australians that were able to ride horses like a expert from their training. this is what gave them the edge in conquoring beersheba, and also that they were on the verge of dehydration, and beersheba provided water to people.
