Platform nine and three-quarters
Harry finally leaves for Hogwarts. On the way there, he meets the Weasley family, including Ron. He also meets Hermione, a studious wizard, and Neville Longbottom. -
The Sorting Hat
The sorting hat choses Harry for Gryffindor. Ron and Hermione are also chosen for Gryffindor and Draco is chosen for Slytherin -
Snape
Harry makes eye contact with a man standing near professor Quirrell, Snape, and his scar starts to hurt. Snape does not like Harry at all -
Seeker
the Gryffindors and Slytherins are having their first flying lesson. Harry shows natural talent when he flies to fight Draco and is chosen to be the seeker for Quidditch. -
Halloween
A troll gets in to Hogwarts. Hermione is unaware because she is crying in the bathroom so Ron and Harry go to find her. They defeat the troll together and become friends -
Quidditch
During Harry's first Quidditch match his broom starts acting up. Hermione and Ron see Snape looking at him and saying a spell. Hermione is able to stop him and Harry wins the match for Gryffindor. -
Nicholas Flamel
Harry, Ron, and Hermione begin to get more suspicious about Snape. They also know that something is being guarded by Fluffy, a three-headed dog. They ask Hagrid about it and he accidentally says the name Nicholas Flamel. -
Christmas
Harry and Ron stay at Hogwarts over the break. They continue searching for answers. On Christmas, Harry gets an invisibility cloak that used to be his fathers. -
The Mirror of Erised
Harry goes exploring with his invisibility cloak. He finds a mirror where he sees his parents. Albus Dumbledore later explains that it shows the person the deepest desire of their heart. -
Sorcerer's Stone
Harry, Hermione, and Ron find out that Nicholas Flamel was the creator of the Sorcerer's Stone. The stone turns any metal to pure gold and produces the Elixir of Life, which makes the drinker immortal. -
Norbert
Hagrid illegally adopts a dragon named Norbert. It causes a lot of trouble so Hermione and Harry sneak out to give it to Ron's brother, Charlie. But, they forget the cloak of invisibility and are caught. -
The Forbidden Forest
After getting in trouble Harry, Hermione, Neville, and Draco have to go into the forest with Hagrid to find a unicorn that has been hurt. When Harry finds it he sees a hooded figure drinking its blood -
The Trapdoor
Harry and his friends find out that Hagrid accidentally told someone how to get past Fluffy and they set out to stop them from getting the stone. -
The Man with Two Faces
After getting past the Devil's Snare, winged keys, a live chess game, and Snape's bottles, Harry finds out that it was actually Quirrell and not Snape that is helping Voldemort -
The Stone
After looking into the Mirror of Erised, the stone ends up in Harry's pocket. Quirrell, who is helping Voldemort, tries to get it from Harry but cannot because the love in Harry's veins hurts him. -
Victory
When Harry wakes up he is in the hospital and Dumbledore explains what happened. Everyone thinks Slytherin has won but Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville are given points for what they have done and Gryffindor wins.
