Ashley Nicolette Frangipane aka Halsey was born the 29th of September 1995 in Washington, New Jersey. -
Halsey starts learning the guitar
in 2008, when Halsey turned 14, she started to learn the acoustic guitar. -
Ashley becomes Halsey
In 2010 when she was 16, Halsey got diagnosed with bipolar disorder. In the same year she came up with her stage name Halsey. Halsey isn't just an anagram for Ashley but Halsey was actually a street in New Jersey in which she grew up in and where she found all her inspiration. -
Halsey started her YouTube Channel
In 2012 Halsey opened her YouTube channel where she started posting covers of songs. In this same year she posted a parody of the song "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift which started her career as a musician and also gave her, her first fan base. -
Halsey's first song
In 2014 Halsey wrote her first song called Ghost. The song is about searching for something in someone that you can't find, a concept of the "ghost" of a person which is where she got the inspiration from. -
Halsey's first ep album was released
In 2014 shortly after releasing her first single "ghost" Halsey released her first ep album called "Room 93". Room 93 is made out of 5 songs including, "Is There Somewhere", "Ghost", "Hurricane", "Empty Gold" and "Trouble". In this year Halsey also signed a contract with Astralwerks. -
Halsey's first album
In 2015 Halsey released her first album called "Badlands". This is her first professionally recorder album. This album has 16 songs including some of her most famous songs called "New Americana", "Hurricane", "Colors" and "Castle". -

In 2016 Halsey performed at Cochella for the very first time. -

In 2016 Halsey sold out her first concert at Madison Square Garden. -

in 2017 Halsey received 5 awards including, Billboards Music Award Top Hot 100 song with the song "closer" and Billboard Music Award for top Dance song with "closer". -
Halsey's second album
In 2017 Halsey released her second album called "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom". This album has 16 songs including some of the most popular ones, "Bad At Love", "Eyes Closed", "Now Or Never" and "Strangers". This album is what started giving her major popularity and when she started getting awards and recognition. -
Halsey's most famous song
In 2018 Halsey released a song called "Without Me" which to this day remains her most popular song. The song became her first number one single in the US as a lead artist. -
Halsey's Victoria Secret Performance
In 2018 Halsey performed at Victoria Secret's fashion show holiday special. -
Halsey's festivals and single with Yungblud
In 2019 Halsey did not release any original song yet, (she will release one the 13th of September) however she released a single featuring her current boyfriend Dom, commonly known under his stage name Yungblud called "11 Minutes". This year Halsey focused on writing new music and going to festivals such as neon lights.
