Pontiac, cheif of an Ottawa village, saw the English as a threat to his people.He gathered up an army and captured a fort outside of Detroit. His allies attacked Brittish settelers. -
Proclimation of 1763
In 1763, England made a law to stop westward expansion. It declared the Appalacian Mountains as the border between English lands and native american land. The proclimation angered colonists who bought land west of the mountains. -
