At the age of 3 Blanco moved to a poor neighborhood in Medellin with her abusive mother. -

Between these two times are when all of her crimes were committed from the murders to the trafficking. -
Her first crime
At the early age of 11 she had become a very skillful pickpocket, but her first actual crime was committed at this time. She had kidnapped a 10 year old boy from an upscale, wealthy neighborhood and demanded a ransom from the family. When the family refused she simply shot him in between the eyes and killed him. This was her first murder and what created her career. -
She runs away
At the age of 14 Blanco runs away from home and her abusive mother and becomes a prostitute for most of her preteen years. -
First marriage
While she was a prostitute she met her first husband in her early 20s. His name was Carlos Trujillo, a hustler and counterfeiter. during the marriage she watched and learned his ways and picked up the basics to running a criminal organization. They also had three kids; Osvaldo Trujillo, Dixon Trujillo, and Uber Trujillo. -
The divorce
In the late 60s Griselda and Carlos got a divorce. She later had him killed Which got her the name of "The Black Widow" -
Second marriage
In the early 70s Blanco meets her second husband Alberto Bravo. Bravo was a beginner to the cocaine trafficking business. Together they moved to Queens, New York where their business hit off. They worked hand in hand maintaining their business. Griselda was a key part in smuggling, coming up with sneaky and creative ways to transport the cocaine, one of which was creating special lingerie with compartments to store and smuggle the cocaine. -
The business
In the mid 70s Blanco and Alberto's business was a complete and utter success. They were making up to 80 million dollars in just a single month. But while this was going on Federal agents raised suspicion. They were both indicted but both somehow managed to escape and make it to Columbia. Griselda felt betrayed and gunned down Alberto and his henchmen, killing them all. She walked away with a single bullet wound and was a force to be reckon with. -
The Cocaine Wars
Blanco returns to Miami and now picks up the name "Godmother of Cocaine" She started the terrible time of the Cocaine wars making Miami the number one murder capitol in the US. She invented ways to kill her enemies such as the "Motorcycle Assassin" (the way she was assassinated) and watched as everybody died around her. -
She stays hidden
During this year Griselda was in hiding out of fear that her enemies would murder her. She had 6 attempts on her life but managed to survive them all. She was locked and hidden in her Miami Mansion. -
Blanco is caught
Blanco was watched by the DEA and other detectives and arrested in her home in Irvine, California and sentenced for 15 years. She was spotted delivering large amount of money to a DEA agent along with her sons, and was also caught with false identification papers. -

Her time in prison
While Blaco was in prison she still somehow managed to run her cocaine business. But that did not satisfy her urge to get out. She had cooked up a plan to escape and kidnap Jonh F. Kennedy Jr. for her release. -
She is released
Blanco is released from prison after 20 yeras and returns to Columbia. She gave up her life of crime and purchased a nice house with the money she had left over. -
Last look
The last sight of Griselda before she got assassinated in 2012 was at the Bogota Airport in Bogota, Columbia. -
Blanco is killed
At the age of 69 Griselda Blanco is shot down and killed in front of a butcher shop by a motorcycle gang. This is believed to be a method she had used in her previous years to kill her opponents. It was suspected this was done by enemies of hers. She was a gangster, murder, and trafficker and still has a legacy that will never be broken.
