In August 2019, Thunberg sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from Plymouth, England, to New York, USA, with a boat equipped with solar panels and underwater turbines. The trip was announced as a carbon-neutral transatlantic crossing, for showing the people that it was so important to reduce emissions. -
