An unexplainable event happened where from out of Chaos came Eros (love), Gaea (Earth), and Tartarus (underworld). -

Gaea gives birth to Uranus, Pontus, and Ourea
Gaea gives birth to Uranus (sky), Pontus (oceans), and Ourea (mountains). -

Gaea gives birth to Hecatonchires and Cyclopes
Gaea and Uranus marry and give birth to Hecatonchires (100-handed giants) and Cyclopes (one-eyed giants). -

Uranus banishes Hecatonchires to Tartarus.
Uranus, disgusted by his children, banishes them to the Underworld. -

Uranus, disgusted by the Hecantochires, creates the Titans.

Gaea is upset with Uranus, talks to Titans
Gaea, being upset that her children were locked away in Tartarus, convinces Cronus to dethrone Uranus as king. -

Cronus Lies
Cronus does not free the Hecantochires from Tartarus, and ends up marrying his sister Rhea. They give birth to six children - Hestia

Rhea's Vengeance Plot
Cronus eats the first five children, and with Gaea's help, Rhea hides Zeus on Crete from Cronus. -

War with the Titans
Zeus returns when he is 16, and Rhea gives Cronus a potion to make him vomit up the other children. Zeus releases the Hecantcchires from Tartarus and brings them to battle. Zeus throws lightning bolts given to him by the Cyclopes. Together, the six children defeat the Titans and Zeus is crowned king. -
Punishment
The Titans are then punished for warring with the gods. Many are sent to Tartarus, and the Titan Atlas was forced to hold the weight of the world on his shoulders. -
The Gods recieve their powers
Each God recieved their own special powers. Zeus - King of Sky, Gods, and Men
Hera - Wife of Zeus, Goddess of marriage and childbirth
Poseidon - Sea, earthquakes, and horses
Hades - King of the underworld and riches
Hestia - Hearth and home
Demeter - Agriculture -

Athena - Goddess of wisdom and defensive warfare
Apollo - twins with artemis. god of the sun, poetry, and prophecy
Artemis - twins with Apollo. goddess of the moon, the hunt, and chastity in women
Hermes- protector of travelers, messenger of god
Ares - God of offensive warfare
Dionysus - god of wine
