    The Battle of Thermopylae was a war that made sure that the Greeks kept their empire and it ended in 480 BC. This battle was so important because it fueled the Greeks to push the Persians army out of their country. Thermopylae prevented the Persians from conquering all of Greece. The Greeks would never have been as successful and memorable if they would have had the Persians conquer their land.

A Socratic Method is a form of a cooperative argumentative dialogue between individuals. This method was a new way of communication for the Greeks. This was a new memorable way that would still be used today as a form of communicating. I think that it's crazy to look back and see that little things like the Socratic Method was created in ancient Greece. I use this communication every day

    Aristotle was another man that helped influence and build greatness in Greece. Aristotle was a student at the same school that Plato created. The one thing that caught my eye about Aristotle was that he was the one that tutored Alexander the Great in 338 BCE. Aristotle allowed Alexander to be the outstanding leader he was by his teaching skills. Since Aristotle was a great tutor, Alexander was able to succeed which led to a memorable Greece.

The Battle of Issus was a decisive Hellenic victory and Alexander succeeded. Alexander was able to defeat Darius for the first time during his time as a leader. The Battle of Issus was another in for the Greeks and Alexander. He kept proving to Greece that he was the superior leader. The Greeks thought of him as a god. Alexander made all his victories very memorable.
