    Great Migration
The Great Puritan Migration was in the 17th century during the time where English puritans migrated to New England, the Chesapeake and the West Indies. The Puritans left England mostly because of religion, but also for land things as well. The puritans were a bunch of religious people who felt the Church of England was too closely paired up with the Catholic religion and needed to be changed. https://historyofmassachusetts.org/the-great-puritan-migration/
