On August 18th,1954, the US withdrew its troops from Korea. But it wasn't until a year passed that the decision finally was made. The Korean war took a long time to sort out. The Korean war began in June 1950 and dragged on for a while, until 1953 the newly elected president Eisenhower let Cinese Communist to let them know in a private way, if them would use nuclear weapons and invade it self if matters weren't solved -

On October 4, 1957, the space race began and ended in 1975. The space race was between the US and the Soviet Union and was a race to explore space. It started when the Russians developed rocket technology and launched Sputnik into outer space and it was the first artificial satellite to orbit Earth, on October 4, 1957. -

The Space Race ended in 1957. The Spae Race began in 1957. The Space Race was about the Soviet Union and the US battling to explore space first. The ZSoviet Union did many more things than the Us, but the US won because they sent a man on the moon. -

On April 30 1975 the Us lost the Vietnam war to Vietnam. Most people say that the US won the war but in all truth Vietnam won and the US lost. That day changed a lot of things in history as others events did. -

On January 28, 1986 the Space Challenger exploded over Cape Canaveral, and due to that it killed all the astronauts aboard. The Space Challenger exploded 73 seconds into its flight and just broke apart and all the pieces flew everywhere. -
