Nick arrives at the gatsby mansion
Nick carraway, a man hailing from Minnesota, takes a trip to new york in which he encounters Mr.Gatsby at a local party he held. Nick is immediately captured by Gatsby's charm and tenacity, claiming him to be gorgeous. -
Party time
The next day Nick arrives at Tom's appartment complex where he is introduced to both Wilson, and his wife Myrtle. Nick takes note of myrtle's rather flirtatious attitude and which he can not shake. Myrtle then leaves with Wilson at Tom's behest, where he then begins to party. -
Tom notices daisy
As Gatsby begins to make his move on Daisy, Tom begins to take notice of this and is greatly displeased. In an act to eiminate all further competition between the two, Tom orders Daisy to choose, which she cant make up her mind on who she loves. -
Gtasby's plan for Daisy
Gatsby wishes to win daisy's heart back after there fateful departure so many years ago. Despite the fact that Daisy is married to Tom. -
A dangerous woman
Myrtle the wife of George is playing an increasingly dangerous game with the men around her. George has grown tired of myrtle's flirtatious behavior and drives her away.While doing so Myrtle throws herself in the way of Gatsby's car killing herself. -
Gatsby's mistake
Gatsby flees the city after myrtle is committed suicide and parts ways with Daisy who wishes to return to Tom. George on the other hand believes that Gatsby murdered Myrtle and plots his death. Whilr gatsby is resting in his pool, George shoots him in cold blood, and commits suicide immediately afterward. -
Nick's decision
No longer feeling safe in New York and fearing for his life, Nick abandons the big city. He leaves soon after Gatsby's death and moves to the midwest where he can rest in peace.
