The Great Depression was caused by the 1929 crash of the stock market. Almost everybody lost their jobs due to the monetary system.The farmers lost their farms and were force to move to the city. -

The stock market crash of 1929 was a big cause of the great depression. The crash was coused by unprecendented wave of sell orders that shook the New York Stock Exchange. -
Everyday People
Everyday people were very poor at the time. Hoboes ended up dying of starvation because everyone was poor and could not give them any Farmers moved to the city and addapt to the city life. The children got ill and some even died. The rich were some what broke because a lot of them invested in the stocks. -
Places
The dust bowl mainly hit the whole entire Texas and all the way up North of Texas. Soup kitchens feed a lot of people that needed it the most. The bread lines fed many of people it was started by FDR. -
Effects
There were many effect of the Great Depression. One, the NYC stock market crashed and did not have no money. 2, there was the dust bowl that made things worse. 3, poverty went on a rise at this time.
