Bikini Swimsuit
Before bikinis were invented, women wore long trousers and flannel dresses! Before 1946, showing your knee was consedered scandalous. But in World War II, there was a fabric ration, so they made a bikini swimsuit. Invented by Louis Reard. -
Kitty Litter
this was invented by Henry Ed Lowe because his wife, Lulu, and Henry say that his neighbor was tired of using ashes for the cat, it made the floor dirty. So Henry suggested sand, thus inventing kitty litter. He sold it for 65 cents for 5 pounds of kitty litter. -

Scrabble was invented by Alfred Butts. Butts loved cross word puzzles, so he invented a game called Criss Cross Words. Then Mr. and Mrs. James Brunot, owners of one of the orginal Criss Cross Words sets, made about two changes to the game. One of the changes was changing its name to Scrabble. -

Peter Hodgson and James Wright ivented silly putty. Wright worked for the General Electric Labotories and he had to hand-produce an usable rubber for kids. So he invented it and silly putty was put on earth. But really James Wright invented silly putty and Peter Hodgson introduced it to the public.
