A 22 year old woman was killed in police custody for not wearing her hijab correctly. This happened a month ago in 2022. Twitter and instagram played a huge part in getting this issue the platform it deserved. Her name has more than a million posts used by the hashtag #MahsaAmini. -

Protect Children not Guns
May 2022 there was a mass shooting at a elementary school in Uvalde Texas. 19 children died. There have been nationwide protests for gun control. Videos of police officers doing nothing while they listened to children being slaughtered went viral on Reddit and other social media platforms.
