  Lynne was born on 20th February 1926 in Kent, England.

  Lynne began dancing at Saddlers Wells Ballet, playing many solo roles including Sleeping Beauty. She danced/trained here until 1951.

  From 1951 to 1954, Lynne was the leading soloist at London Palladium.

  Thought it would be cool to put that Lynne traveled to Australia to create the Australian Ballet's first work commissioned for tv, The Fool on the Hill.

  Lynee was the unofficial house choreographer on and off from 1976- 2000 for the Royal Shakespeare Company, staging numbers in The Comedy of Errors, As You Like It, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Secret Garden.

  Lynne associate directed and choreographed Lloyd Webber's, Cats. She was nominated for a Tony Award for her choreography.

  Musical stager and choreographer for the original London Production (1986) and the original Broadway production (1988). She was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Choreography for the Broadway production.

  Lynne choreographed the musical in London 2002 and on Broadway in 2005, both successfully.

  On the 1st July 2018, Lynne died of pneumonia, aged 92.
