Crossing the Ranging Torrent
On Jason's way to Iolcus, Hera wanted to test Jaosn to see if he was a true hero to take on pelias. She set up a raging torrent with an aold crane standing next tio the river needing assistance across. Jason did not think twice and he put her on his back and started to cross the river. She slowly got heavier and heavier, but Jason fulfilled the task. While crossing the stream he had lost a sandal and Iolcus was awaiting someone without a sandal to challenge his power of the throne. -
Meeting Iolcus
Iolcus met jason and invited the challenger to a banquet. At the banquet, Jason said sending someone to retreive the Golden Fleece would show their worthiness, so Iolcus sent Jason to retreive it.
