Black Death
The disease Black Death hits Germany and ends up killing at least one third of the population. Black death is also known as the bubonic plague which was spread through the trade routes. -

Roman Conquest 9 AD
The Romans are overpowered by the Germans and this in turn prevents a Roman conquest of Germany. This didn't actually happen in 1400 it happened in 9 AD. -

The Peasants War
The Peasants become unhappy wtih the way things are going in Germany and decide to have an uprising take place in Germany. -

Thirty Years War
The Thirty Years War begins in 1618 and continues on for 30 years to 1648. Finally in 1648 the Thirty Years War ends but leaves Germany devastated with most of the population dead. -
Frederick Crowned
Frederick the First was crowned the first king of Prussia and was the paternal grandfather of Freerick the Great. -
Austrian Succession
The War of Austrian Succession lasted form about 1740 to 1748 in Germany. -
German Confederation Established
The Congress of Vienna establishes the German Confederation between 1814 and 1815 which consists of 39 indepedent German States. -
Archduke Franz Ferdinand
The Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungry was assisinated along with his wife, which provoked World War I. In August of that same year Germany declares war on Russia and France and the United Kingdom declares war on Germany. -
Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles ends World War I and the Rhineland was placed under Allied occupation for 15 years. -
Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler is appointed by Hindenburg as chancellor of Germany and Nazi Germany begins prosecuting Jews. -

Adolf Hitler and World War II
-On September 1st Hitler invades Poland and begins World War II.
-In 1940 Germany captures Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Luxembourg. This makes the Allies, which include Russia, the UK, and USA to retaliate.
-April 30th 1945 Hitler commits suicide.
-August 1945 the US drops atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
-May 7th 1945 Germany surrenders.
-June 1945 Germany divided into four zones of military occupation. -

Berlin Wall
-The Berlin Wall was built in August of 1961.
-On November 9th 1989 the Berlin Wall was demolished and Communist East Germans were able to travel to West Germany. -
Germnay Reunited
East and West Germany was reunited.
