In Jan 1923, the Ruhr was occupied because of Germany didn't follow the Versailles Treaty to indemnity. The German government let workers and civil servants refuse orders by the occupation forces.

The Munich Putsch
Hitler and the NSDAP in late 1923 try to control the Government in Bavaria. It was failed because they didn't get help from the government, police or army.
