Bismark ordered the German people to stop believing in the Catholic church. Most of the population agreed with hom but some of the population didn't. People who didn't go with Bismarck's plan, were arrested.

After 10 years of being a prime minister, Bismarck became chancellor. As chancellor, Bismarck was the highest level of monarchy and used it to help unite Germany.

William agreed with most of Bismarck's ideas and became the king of Prussia in 1872.He was nice and polite unlike Bismarck.

Bismarck was against the socialists so he launched an anti-socialist campaign to abolish socialism. He was not able to abolish socialism but he did convince many people that socialism was bad.

The Krupp family founded a steel making company that helped improve the German economy. Without the Krupp, the German economy wouldn't be as good and there would be economic struggles.

With the population growth, the economy inproved because there was a bigger working class and many companies became rich. The Krupp company helped increase the German economy.

Bismarck was old and wanted to live the rest of his years in peace and not in power so he resigned. He allowed William II to lead Prussia after he resigned.
