    Hitler declared to absorb the lands of Austria and Czechoslovakia into the Third Reich so Germany could grow and prosper. Annexing these countries could provoke war but Hitler stated "'The German Question' can be solved only by means of force, and this is never without risk.

    The Munich Agreement was signed by the French premier Edouard Daladier and the British prime minister Neville Chamberlain. Hitler invited them to meet with him in Munich so he could explain how this was going to be his last territorial demmand.

    while tensions were rolling between Poland and Russia, Stalin surprised everyone by signing the act. Stated that communist Russia and fascist Germany committed never to attack each other again.

    The German air force roared over Poland, raining bombs on military bases, airfields,railroads, and cities. German tanks were also racing through polish towns. All these attacks were tests of Germany's new military strategy, the Blitzkrieg (lightning war)
